What is the difference between B.E. & BTech.

Many a times i have seen students are confused that what is the difference between B.E. and BTech.
Which is better and which has better Scope???
Actually there is no difference between B.E. and BTech. in terms of value and scope.
Now u might be thinking if there is no difference between both , then why are the names Different.

When India got independence, there were 2 types of Universities:
  • which offer only Engineering :- these institutes named BTech.
  • which offer Degrees in Science, Commerce,Arts,Education & also Engineering :- these institutes named as B.E.
Now, when these colleges started new courses, they too called them BTech.
So, none of both is superior than another.
Both have same value & same scope.

What to Choose after 10th?

I have seen most of the students are in a dilemma  after 10th, what to choose Science, Commerce or Arts.
It purely depends on your area of interest.
Many a times parents pressurize their child to opt for science but he doesn't like science.
This can create a immense pressure and don't do well in 12th.
So, i would request all parents not to pressurize their child and discuss what the child is interested in.
Many a times i have heard people speaking that arts or commerce has no value.
But actually it's not true.
You should go where you are interested in, and then your interest will take you to heights of success.
You can decide by the subjects you have studied in 10th.
You have studied subjects like Maths, Science, Economics, History, Language etc.
If you really enjoyed Studying maths & Science you should go for Science A.
If you liked Science and mainly biolgy but u hated maths then u should opt for Science B.
If you like Economics, Finance, or want to become a Businessman you should go for Commerce.
If you like History, Political Science or Languages You should Take Arts.
After 10th you have mainly 5 options:
All the streams are the best according to scope and future opportunities.
"All the Best"
Have a Bright Future.
